Utah Draw Odds 2025

Pick a species to explore odds for every hunt code by unit, season, weapon, and your preference points, computed from Utah's official 2025 draw results. Utah's big game draw application period typically closes in early March. Verify at wildlife.utah.gov.

How the Utah draw works

Utah limited-entry and once-in-a-lifetime hunts use a bonus point draw with two pools. Half of each hunt's permits go to the applicants holding the most points (the max-point pool); the other half are a random draw where every bonus point buys one extra entry. So points strongly improve your odds, but a lower-point applicant can still hit the random half.

General-season buck deer and antlerless hunts instead use preference points, where the highest points draw first. This tool shows the actual results at every point level, by hunt and residency — for limited-entry hunts the point column is bonus points, for general-season and antlerless it is preference points.

Residents and nonresidents draw from separate allocations, so set your residency first. These are last year's results — point creep means the most sought-after hunts usually need a bit more each year.
